The case is made of heat-resistant phenolic resin that doesn't rust, corrode or tarnish. Behind the clear glass lens is a burnished white dial with the 24-hour format used by the military. The numerals are larger every four hours to follow the traditional watch schedule. It also has a second hand for better reading accuracy from the quartz movement. You can adjust it by undoing the brass screw-bolt look and opening the hinged bezel.
