This time-only mechanical clock and barometer desk set is a rare find! First made by Chelsea in 1947, the Corvette boasts a solid mahogany base, two solid brass cases with a rich bronze finish, and miniature solid brass yacht wheel handles. The clock features etched black Arabic numerals, while the holosteric movement barometer features etched readings in inches and millibars. A single winding key, time set knob, and fast/slow regulator can be found on the back of the timepiece. This Corvette desk set was originally sold to the House of Clocks on March 10, 1960.
